Hi All,
Having explored and exhausted most of the free training material online, I felt the time was right to join TPE, put in the work and see if I can take my game to the next level; so very much looking forward to exploring all TPE has to offer.
So off to view my first video on my schedule… Am very much a fan of Andrew Brokos; both through the videos I have seen and via the ‘Thinking Poker Podcast and the associated material on his website, so the prospect of having access to all his series on TPE was a big draw card to the site.

When you say home game, is that a feature on TPE?

When you say home game, is that a feature on TPE?
Good to know there are some Adelaide members…
we have our own home game on stars that we have set up. not officially TPE sanctioned but all members are from TPE, and we usually hold a group conference call on skype at the same time.
usually costs around $100 give or take every 8 weeks and the winner gets a buyin to a $1k tourney of their choice, where the rest of the members get 50% and you get 50%. (flexible depending on the buyin etc) we have had two cashes already from members, for a total of around $22k i think! I finished third in last years adelaide champs which netted people a share of 5k (brag), and duggs finished third in the wellington champs for about 7k i think.
i used to play a whole bunch around adelaide, mostly 888pl, and only rarely at the casino. if you have played for more than 2 years or so in 888pl im sure we know each other already.
i am overseas at the moment, but when i get back we will be kicking off another home game

Just kidding, welcome aboard mate. You are going to love being part of TPE nation.
The home game is good fun and has helped my game tremendously. I just watch everything Benny does, then do the opposite..
Sorry to be so harsh, but Benny posts pictures on Facebook of himself drinking beer and having fun, so he deserves it.

Sounds good (I will have to invest in a computer cam – have not done much skyping…) Would be great to get involved; building a poker network was certainly one of my key objectives in getting involved with TPE – Was not sure exactly how that was going to roll, so nice to have the ball rolling.
Yes, have played APL and 888 a bit over the last 12 or so months, mainly down south… Have not played much recently since they have changed the structure though. Mainly playing on Stars and a little on Full Tilt – I would suggest at slightly lower stakes than the rest of the SA crew.
Certainly let me know though TPE when the home games might be rolling… Cheers…

GOLD… Will have to check out the pics… Yes am certainly glad I finally joined – had been thinking about it for a while and figured I would give it a go, put in some time and see if I can take my game up a notch or 2. Hope to see ya at the tables shortly… Cheers

you dont need a cam, just a headset, its all a voice chat. usually we have a 6-12 person game, and just about all of us jump in the voice call. thats unless you get size of andrew's voice haha.
