Hi all, I’m Nick from Philadelphia, PA. I’ve been playing both online and live tournaments (and cash) since 2006. I’ve had some success over the years, but poker has mostly just been a hobby/side income. I’ve recently started getting back into playing after taking a couple years off to complete my master’s in computer science, but I’m ready to get serious about poker now. One of the reasons being a couple weeks ago I binked a live tourney at a local casino which was a $100k gtd and the winner also received an entry to the WSOP Main Event! I actually won a satellite to the main event before in 2008 on Bodog/Bovada, but I took the cash instead of the seat. This time I’m definitely playing. So I want to study/play as much as possible leading up to the big dance. I’ve started playing a lot on Ignition/Bovada and I feel like TPE has already helped as I’ve had a lot of success already (probably has more to do with the level of play there than my skills). I’ve read a couple books in the past but I never really got into forums like 2+2 or coaching so I’m super pumped to finally take the deep dive into poker. I’m looking forward to learning and getting better with all of you!
