So hi all I’m Jason, so about 5 weeks ago I signed up to online poker site before this my poker experience was just playing with family and friends, I managed to win $123 at a $2.50 180 sit&go which I put down to just been lucky, since then I been at a few more final tables but no wins, I think this has been down to me making some bad decisions.

I decided to try improve my game, I learnt some basic knowledge about good starting hands positioning, 3/4 betting and c betting. I’m at university at the moment so I’m going try study poker along side it.

I think my biggest weakness is sometimes I don’t fold when I should be down to me thinking the other player is bluffing or me trapping my self by committing a lot of chips then on the river trying force the other player to fold my going all in.

I’m hoping to learn a lot here and would welcome any advice.

🙂

Not much  of an online player  started playing live on a frequent basis since June 2015. I am still in the learning phases of the game but a few live cashes in major events has given me some extra added confidence at the table. You need to go in with some sort of game plan when you play a hand. How many chips are you willing to commit and not being afraid of folding  to a big raise even though you committed those chips preflop or post. Many seem to make the mistake of putting in a bunch of chips then getting shoved on and are clueless as to whats next?  If you commit yourself all the way to the river then go for it  but then again it takes a real man to give up his hand when he knows he is beat regardless of the amt of chips he contributed  into the pot
