Heys everyone!  New to the site obviously.  I made a thread in Poker goals introducing myself… but I did it on my phone and still pretty drunk from St.Patties so it was a pretty bad post and a poor representation of myself.  So, I'm going to try this again if you dont mind.

A little about myself.  I am completely new to online poker, I have only been playing a month or two.  I have a pretty good amount of experience playing at the local dog tracks cash games.  However, as a recent father, I cant really justify going off to play poker to for long hours at a time.  So I deposited $300 on Stars.  I played cash and multitabled SNGs that Im pretty sure I wasnt rolled for (or I just ran god aweful bad, not too sure) and went busto pretty quickly.  Realizing that the only cash game skill level at lower stakes is still significantly better than local dog track games, I decided to switch to SNGs and Tournaments.  Never having played them before I did alot of reading and research on them, and then deposited $450 on Full Tilt (because of their rakeback and smaller tournament fields).  

I began grinding $10 HU deepstack SNGs with pretty good success.  I decided to take a shot at the $3 rebuy.  I won it for $2500.  Immediately cashed out $1K and left myself a little under $2K to build a roll with.  I discovered this site to further learn about tournaments.   So hopefully the initially success continues.  

I have to say im pretty impressed with the site so far.  Hagbard's podcast interviews and videos are pretty eye opening, and I have to say he is incredibly good at explaining stack size and betting sizes in certain situations.  I feel like I have already learn TONS, and I hope the initially success continues.  

I would love to talk poker with anyone interested via skype, aim, or whatever people use to talk through.  And I have no problem sharing any hand histories with any success I may have (if anyone wants to take a look at my $3 rebuy hh, i would love to share it and tell me what you guys think)

Unfortunately the deal I made with the wife is that I cant start playing tournaments til after our daughter goes to bed, so Im pretty limited in the tournaments I can play nightly so Im sure itll take me awhile to build a roll
