Hey, happy to be on the board.

I’ve been playing online poker since senior year of high school. I crushed ACR when I first started on it, but had a really bad run (partly due to playing higher stakes than I should be), but I’m back on there now after mostly avoiding ACR for over a year. Been watching a lot of videos on here and (other training site) which have been very helpful. My goal has been to go from an above average player to a very good player, and watching videos here and other sites have helped me do that.

I subscribed to the podcast and would listen to some old episodes to try to study. Then when Clayton took over the pod, it helped motivate me to subscribe several months ago. Never really posted on the board because it didn’t seem to have that many posts, but I was hoping that with coronavirus, a lot more people were back on trying to improve their games in these live poker streets.

I had mostly been a live poker grinder outside of my main job for the last 2 years. I’d play in Connecticut and occasionally New Jersey until I moved to Los Angeles 18 months ago, which seemed like the live poker capital of the world until everything got shutdown.

Now with coronavirus, I’m basically living like I did a decade ago grinding online poker in all my free time. And now that I’m probably gambling several times as much money by multitabling constantly (and firing lots of bullets when need be), I want to make sure that I can hold my own with the sharks. 

I know I’ve seen Killingbird a few times at the tables. Looking forward to talking hands with some of you guys.
