Hello Community, My name is Adam, otherwise known as Alpha_VA. I am 40 years young (Never Old)! I have been playing poker since Freddy KGB slipped up with that Oreo tell. (Ummm, that would be a scene in Rounders). I work as a commercial telecommunications tech. I have a precious 9 month young baby girl, and 3 stepchildren.(And I love ’em all equally as my own). I feel age is limitless. Have fun, laugh a lot. Enjoy life. We are not promised another one. Life is a wise crack. Good and bad.

I love this game because of the rush I get w/ the deception and intricate strategy that each hand presents no matter which discipline of poker you play. I guess that is why we are all here trying to be better marksmen. What made want to get better even more was when I discovered Twitch, and out of curiosity typed in “Poker”. The first person I saw was some dude named Killingbird. Showing his hands and how he played them. I watched for a couple of sessions and started following him. Who doesn’t like a chilled dude, drinking beer, then getting lit up, going on a rant for awhile, belches and calling other players “doults”. And all of this is just like the other characters I see at my local poker room. I said sign me up! All of the knowledge from the staff of TPE has been great.

This year my goal is just to play better, understand and learn form everyone. If anyone of you reading this has anything to lend, my ears are open, good or bad. I will do the same in return.
