TommyTheNuts here, I am psyched to have found this site and am looking forward to learning from the whole TPe community. I live in Connecticut, and am a stay-at-home dad. I host 2 cash games a week in my basement, and run 1 or 2 tournaments a month at a local sportsman's club. I play a super low volume online, and am usually limited to evening tournaments that will end no later than 3 or 4am.

  I found poker in 2004 and started out playing limit cash games at Foxwoods (2/4-4/8-10/20), then got into NL tourneys after luckboxing SNG satellites into the 5k main event at the 2005 New England Poker Classic. Online I play mostly small buyin deepstack, 1r1a, or 2r1a tournaments and I have only a few small (<1k) cashes. A couple of my goals here are to identify and plug the many leaks in my tournament game, and learn how to effectively use Hold'em Manager. I practice the “There are no stupid questions” philosophy, so you can initially expect some pretty basic questions from me in the forum!
