Hi like many others I am back after a couple of years, the last time I was here I did not make the most out of the videos, this time I will.
I have many years experience of poker, but still fail to be a winning player, I know I have the potential to be much better than I am, as I have had some decent prizes over the years, including 2 European packages, 1USA package that I sold, and many satellite into live big Uk games, my best Tournament result was 4th in a UK Sunday major, many years ago shipping 10k. and many smaller wins.
I think I have failed to progress into a winning player for a few reasons including,
Never been coached, never adjusted to the modern game, poor bankroll management, and a poor memory, I find it hard to take in some of the Theory video’s, that I so much want to learn. I’m really interested, and need to learn about hand reading techniques, as I still depend on playing my own cards, and not enough about ranging my opponent’s, although I am confident about using my hud,so this helps me alot, and I was hoping to find a couple of practical video’s on hand reading, but not so much on the Theory side of it, If there are any in the TPE videos would someone point them out to me please.
Thats me in a nutshell GL at the tables
Welcome back! This is indeed a theory series, but i think would be really useful for you to power through!
