November 4, 2013
I should write a little more.
In 2008 I was the one who thought I was good at tourneys, but who you guys were probably already bullying since I was so tight. I was never a losing player, but my profits have always been miniscule in the long run.
Now in 2013 I've wised up a little bit and have had a winning year of a less laughable magnitude (still worth a chuckle) – but now I have a better look at how much I have sucked, why I have sucked, but more frustratingly, why I still kind of suck.
I've read the books now (many of the old ones like HoH, Moshman on SnG and the new ones like KE and RE, but not Secrets of Professional Tournament Poker .. that one seemed more for beginners. I may want to read it though)
I was a member of deucescracked for a few months and may rejoin them too. They helped me carve out a decent foundation in my game. Of course, I still think I have many leaks that could be easily fixed with the right attention on my part and parhaps some help.
As for why I still kind of suck, I do have a better look at it, but I definitely don't completely understand it. Certain issues have remained difficult mysteries to me.
Today I sessioned for the first time in a while and it didn't go all that well. I would be excited to exchange a hand history sweat session with anyone who is interested, or receive coaching.
For now I'll just look around the site a bit and eventually start posting with tough questions.
Good day all.
