Just signed up for TPE last night. I'm really excited to start expanding my game and learning new strategies.

A little history on myself. I'm a product of the moneymaker poker boom. I was 12 when he won it all and it got me and my friends hooked on poker. For the next couple years I played in 5 and 10 dollar home games with my friends. They were having fun, I was making money. In high school I convienced my parents to deposit 50 bucks into FTP under their name. I was horrible in the beginning. No understanding of BR management, implied odds, reverse implied odds etc. I signed up for cardrunners when I was about 17 b/c I wanted to take the game more seriously. That really helped me understand some of the finner points of NLHE.

For the next 3 years I concentrated on 10nl cash games and was a solid winner in those (4bb/100). I grinded through college, making a couple hundred dollars here and there. I would usually deposit 100 in an account, build it up to 500 and cash out. Then in a couple months the poker bug would get me again and I would deposit another 100.

This last year I was a senior in college (UC Sanat Cruz, GO Slugs!) and decieded to not cash out at 500 and see if i could work my way up to 1000$. I got up to 750$ and then realized that the games are too reg infested above 10nl on merge.

I switched over to tournements and in my first week I binked the 1.5k daily dollar frenzy for $350. That was almost a year ago and i have only had one or 2 cashed over $100. This is why I joined TPE, to take my game to the next level.
