After reading quite some positive feedback about this site and watching your free video material I finally decided to join TPE.

Glad I did. – The video section alone is awesome.

I've started playing poker online because I wanted to secretly practice for our $2 buyin homegames we run maybe twice a year (big lol here). It turned out I became almost obsessed in finding new strategic advice and so I read all of Harrington's books about MTT poker (which helped my game tremendously) as well as The Raisers Edge and Kill Everyone (which was too much information for a noob player like myself, so my onlinegaming results turned totally bad again, lol).

Been playing mostly MTTs for about 9 months now. With my 50$ first deposit I had some extreme up and downswings (due to my constant BRM f***ups and the mentioned change in strategy when I tried to switch from Harringtons tight style to an insane-loose-bluff-em-all style).  Best result was 2nd place in The Big $27,50 (I play mostly on stars).

This month I am back to building a bankroll with mostly using Harringtons advice, my experience over the last few month and of course some new input I find on TPE.

Now I plan on reading a bit in your forums and discuss poker strategies.

Really looking forward to get some advice about certain spots in upcoming tournaments I play.
