Hello all,
Hope everyone is crushing it 🙂
My name is Dustin and I live in BC, Canada. I absolutely love poker and am determined to be able to support myself using it as my financial means (Currently I work full time and don’t plan on stopping that lol). I was a member of TPE 2 years ago and loved it at the time but found that I really didn’t have the bankroll to be playing poker at all and stepped away. Since then I have been playing every variation of poker from 6 max cash to hyper turbo’s. I was maintaining a 5bb/100bb at 6 max cash over 500k hands but found that I didn’t enjoy it like I do with mtt and Sitngo’s, hence being back here at TPE!
I will be looking to post every other day with my results, goals, life etc. I look forward to meeting you all 🙂

My plan is to complete all the videos on the TPE University section first. Even though I have watched a lot of them it is a good refresher!
Played for 6 hours today and made a couple cashes, nothing to crazy. Finished top 100 in the big $11 on Pokerstars along with a number of micro stakes buy ins. I also just finished 11th in a $5 deep stack, $2000 GTD on 888. Was chip lead for most of the tourney when I lost with AA to villains AK…..
After playing some large fields I keep asking myself whether or not I should stick to the smaller Sitngo fields instead of playing these massive fields. I like playing the large sizes because of the massive prize pool but obviously run into variance whereas in the Sitngos the fields seem easier but the pay out is smaller. Maybe make SitnGo’s my staples during the week and play on Sundays in the larger MTT……This is a question I hope to answer when I am finished the TPE University.

Thanks ttwist! I look forward to watching your videos!
Update:
I’m one of the typical people who don’t sleep very well from over thinking etc. I hadn’t mentioned from my earlier post that I am a very competitive person while playing sport at a semi professional level throughout Europe/Canada/U.S. This competitive drive and desire to be doing something outstanding lives inside me and is constantly pulling at me. I currently use it for working out / training and poker but at times it can keep me up and hold me back from sleeping….Things could be worse lol.
Tomorrow I will be waking up at 5am and doing a good 5 hour session before work. Will be looking to play a number of 9man Turbo’s/$8 buy ins with 180/$2.50 Turbos. I am looking to use the 9 mans as a bankroll builder and more of a stable than add in large MTT on weekends and evenings.

Update:
Things have gone alright within the last couple of days. As mentioned I wanted to finish a number of the Turbo videos along with playing a good amount of volume on pokerstars. Yesterday I played 15 $2.50/180 SitNGo’s with a second place, 7th place and a number of top 20 places. Today I played another 13 and finished 5 and some other top 20 finishes. Overall I am very impressed with the videos from DannyN13.

Hey all!
Things have gone okay, a couple of first and second place finishes with a number of final table finishes. I have played a total of 48 $2.50/180 mans throughout the last 3 days while playing about 12 on my phone(at work!). I plan on always playing with Poker Tracker when I am at home but on occasion I cant help myself to shoot up a tourney at work! That being said most of my sessions will be tracked on Poker tracker and will be posted here as I would like to have credible stats 🙂
Best of luck on the tables.
