Greetings and Salutations Gentleman and Ladies,

My name is Mike and I'm an almost 40 year old Sys admin from the Mid-West of the US, I'm a huge nerd and love all technology.  I'm into AWD turbo cars an, (I also have an 86 Mustang SVO 2.3 Turbo, hence the name) and have a 2011 WRX as my daily driver :)~.  I've got a couple of brats ( 2 girls, 5 yr, and 4 mnths), two dogs and a cat, ohh and a wife (I almost forgot to add her, sorry honey).  I've been playing for about 3 years I think, and even did a year of dealing for the local free poker “Bar League” in my area.  I've got a couple of 2k cashes at the local casino, won about 5 K in a year in the “Bar league”, and a couple of modest 100$ cashes on line.  I've been playing a ton on Bovada, and I just put a small roll on ACR.  Since ACR lets you use a HUD, I've been getting my first tournament hud setup and trying to get used to using a real HUD ( I use Holdem Indicator on Bovada, and find it does give a slight edge if the info taken with a grain of salt).  Online I'm def not a winning player at this point, but I will get there.  Part of me just feels like I need to bink a nice score to get a bank roll really going. It's tough when you can only put 100 bucks at a time on a site, and have to try and grind it up from there.  I play live a couple of times a week and I feel like this is where my strength lies.  I play with really bad, fishy (but mostly nice) people all the time.  So I'm fairly adept at navigating that type of mine field.  My push fold is ok and I tend to be able to get big stacks early online, but have issues with the late stages in shallow tournaments and tend to min cash instead of make the FT.  I guess I'd categorize myself as a TAG that can sometime be too passive.

Some Modest goals:

Poker as a modest secondary income.

Build a bank roll and move up to Mid stakes for week end sessions.

Use bank roll for family Vacations and traveling to Poker Events.

I just wanted to say thanks to KB and RFB and all the TPE Pro's for providing great tournament content. I hope I can learn grow as a player and help others to do that same.
