Hi all,
I've been playing poker for years now, on and off. At one point even, I was paying my bills and for school with it. Life got in the way, though and after picking up an internship then a part-time (now full-time) bar job, I guess I realized just how much I miss the game. I'm someone who loves a standard mathematic approach (Math/Econ major in University) , but I'm all about non-conventional lines. Not only does it keep the game interesting, it always improves play SIGNIFICANTLY to work on small-ball and post flop/reading as much as possible as well as review said HHs- in my opinion.
I know of TPE because I used to be an active community member with “BetonDrew” peeps, and was in a skype chat with John (Drewpeacoq8) and often, Cory pretty much…. everyday I was on the online grind. I've recently become a live player, which has been a strange transition as I played mostly (aside from some local 1/2 and 2/5 home games) online poker for years. [Living in South Carolina, the blackhole of poker, will do that to you] Anyways, I suppose a few times in the year I can be found at Cherokee or Hard Rock in FL.
I'm glad I made the choice to sign up to TPE- LOVING the videos and podcasts. Plan to be active on the forums as I'm always trying to learn and always down to brag in BBV.
[Add: if anyone is playing WSOPc – Cherokee this year, see you next week!]
