Hey TPE,

I’m Gav and I live in Stockport, England. I’ve been a member of the site for a while and love the team and everything about the site. It really is like a true community on here and I have spoken to a few members mid tourneys on Pokerstars who have been at my table and they only ever offer kind words which is refreshing.

One thing that disappoints me though is that I can’t get over the pond to meet the team when they all go to the live events. However, I thought it would be a great idea to get a British contingent together and meet up to get a real community together. It would be great to meet some members in person to put a name to a face and talk some strategy.

Love the idea. But can we widen it a little to British? I am English but live in bonny Scotland and I'm sure there are a few other Scotts and Welsh that woul lik to get in on this.

 

There are some good live circuit events around the UK eg UKIPT, GUKPT ect perhaps we should be a little more vocal in the forums about which ones we are attending so that others can arrange to meet up.

Hi mate,

 

I love the idea of widening the horizon to the british isles, the more the merrier. Where abouts in Scotland are you? The UKIPT was supposed to be great in Scotland last year. Would be great if we could get a travelling fraternity of British TPE members. I'm hoping a loads of members see this thread.

 

Would you be willing to help out on some tweets KB to get a little publicity for the TPE members over here?
