Howzit?  I am a poker player from Maui, Hawaii.  I have heard good things about your site and wanted to try it out.  I don't have the opportunity to play live tournaments as much as I would like living on an island (yeah I know – play the violins and get out the tissues 🙂  I find that reading and studying poker are the next best thing to keep my game advancing.  

     I get to the mainland 3 or 4 times a year to play, mostly Vegas and Foxwoods in CT.  Last month I had my best showing, taking 5th out 454 at a WSOP Circuit event at Foxwoods.  My last trip to Vegas I took my first clean cut first (no chops no deals) at one of the Venetian daily T's.  Everytime I play I feel like I learn something new and really try to examine what I did right and what I could have done better.  I have made it to the Final table of dozens of tournaments in the 70-120 player range, but hadn't made it through a larger field till this last trip.  I am heading to Vegas in November to play the WSOP Circuit Event at the Hard Rock, and hope to use this site to tighten up a few areas of my game and keep my poker focus sharp.  I'll be starting with the Seniors Event, which I feel I have a great edge as quite a few older players really haven't updated their game to include ICM and other current ideas.  While I enjoy the Seniors Events I love playing regular tournaments against younger players.  Being older, and female, and smiling nicely is the perfect disguise when I isolation raise pre-flop with air and three barrel.  I get away with a lot and have a really good time doing it! LOL God I love this game!
