Playing in .1/.25 on stars, I won a big pot but probably didn’t play the hand very well. The villain is new to the table and I’ve never seen him before. There was some (possibly flawed) logic to my decisions… I didn’t think I had enough fold equity on the turn to raise and thought that if my hand improved I could get more out of him. On the river I thought that I beat 2/3 of his value range and that he would struggle to fold any of it, especially as it’s quite hard to put me on a hand. I would almost always raise 99/77/T8 on the turn. Is this thinking ok or is playing a hand like this out of position a bit spewy?
