To start; I mistitled the hand… He donk ships on me river…

So this is a cash hand on Stars Zoom… I play 4 table zoom and straight autopilot… So I know nothing about this guy.  Bet on the flop is small for sure… But I'm just confused about what he's ripping river with.  A9, 34cc, 35cc, shoving a 9 thinking it's value?  I have no fn' clue.  The more I look the more I think my decision was bad but I can't articulate why.  Help would be amazing!  : )  THanks guy!

(In case Andrew reads this, I would imagine he wonders a bit about my open.  I checked over 99 hands w 22 in EP I am 38bb/100.  But maybe the open is fine.  I think I can play well enough post at these stakes. )

In a vacuum, I think it's a busted spade draw. Because the Ac is on the flop, there's no way you can have Kx of clubs, so he can represent runner-runner. But it's 5c/10c, so we've both already overthought this 🙂

The fact that he check calls twice leads me to believe you have the best hand on this river. I expect most players to be raising turn with most two pair/set combos on this board. I also dont think its impossible for hero to have a flush in this spot. You should be cbetting this board with a fairly high frequency and can definitely find a 2nd barrel with turned flush draws. I dont think villain is likely to be bluffing missed spades very often but rather overplaying worse value hands.

First thoughts are that opening 22 should be fine UTG in these games but that sample size is far too small to be the reason why.

I think you should bet slightly bigger on the flop as your default play with your whole bettting range. On the flop I dont think this a board that slowplaying will be correct with many monsters given how the Axx flop hits your UTG range so he should be check raising most of his monsters on flop or turn. Given that, at micro stakes, weak players LOVE slowplaying so it wouldn’t surprise too much if he had 97, A9, 99, AA given how hes risking about 7-8 times the pot to win $2.

Overall, at the micros, huge overbets are generally super nutted and rarely bluffs unless its the perfect card to represent. It essentially comes down to whether or not he plays KQcc this way. I would like to think I would fold against an unknown but you can still have AA, A9, 99, 97 so its not like this is the top of your range (although its obv close). He’s never making this play as a bluff, as he could just bet $5 and fold to a shove if he wanted to overbet bluff. This is probably AA to be fair.

Also, why not just play 3 tables and not auto pilot? Your aim should be to improve as a player and climb out of the stakes as opposed to grinding out huge volume.

Also, your hand looks like at top pair at worst and people don’t try to bluff people off that, in these games. Also people tend not to bluff represent back door flushes or full houses. If your ever good, its because he hasn’t realised the board has paired and is shoving a J, Q or K high flush
