I just wanted to share this as I am still buzzing from the win. I've played so many microstakes tourneys on Stars and have made some deep runs but never taken anything down.

Until now. Last night I took down the $1.35 ko, ending up chopping HU for $857. Won $5.50 in bounties. There were 6168 entries so it was a pretty huge field. Guess about the same size as Main Event.

Ran unbelievably well, like it was destined to happen. Ran up the starting stack of 3000 to over 30000 in just two levels and never looked back. Just lost one major hand with KK when A8 hit four card straight.

At three-handed and getting short, shoved KTo on the button, called by both blinds who showed KQ and AA. Board ran out TxxxK. Easy game. That gave me chip lead and made it to HU easily. Even after we chopped I shoved Q3o and called by A6 and won to take 1st place and an extra 50c 🙂

Happy to share hand history if mods think this would make a good series for some analysis.
