3 HUGE hands………  First was 9 handed vs Dan Buzgon (Very solid PRO  2.3 milly lifetime LIVE) very good online.  We know each other well.  He had BIG CL at this time, I think I’m 3/9.  He’s in bb w/106k, I’m UTG +1, open w/ AA (47k)  800/1600bb, I make it 3590. everyone folds, he calls.  FLOP 982cc, I make it 4890, he JAMS,  FUCK ME I thought, he’s obviously on a draw and I HAVE to call……  sure enough, he has QTcc, big draw for him. I have AdAs.  #1 v #3 stacks….. all in on flop.  TURN 8c…… FUKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK………  but then the Ac on River for a FULL HOUSE, now I have CL w/ 100k

Next HUGE hand vs Calvin Anderson who had taken CL w/ 108k  now 5 handed vs 4 PROS….. other pro is a local NJ Pro nice solid player Matt Illes.  I’m UTG 3/5 w/ 68k at 1250/2500bb………  I open w/ AQo, 5k.  Calvin is in sb, 3bets to 15k.  I call.  Flop is Q77, Calvin cbets small, 7500, I call…… Turn is 3h, he bets small again, I JAM 45k….. he snaps me off w/ KK…….  Damn it.  But then the river card comes like Barry Greenstains book is called.  ACE on the river……..  Massive win. Now I have the CL again w/ 140k 5 handed.  

Last hand basically won it for me.  Buzgon 160k button, Tony D in sb 96k and I’m in bb with 120k.  1500/3000bb. He opens 2.2BB, I’m in bb and call w/ 56o, I know Dan opens btn a decent amount. Flop was T95 rainbow. Chk, he cbets smallish, call.  Turn is 6, He bets 27k into 40k pot, I tank for a few and JAM to win the good sized pot right there, but I get snapped off by AA.  Riv is a K and I win a huge pot and take CL w/ 245k.  *WOW, now I have the lead w/ Tony having 90k and Dan 39k.  2nd was paying 5k and 1st got the 10k seat to 2020 WSOP Main.  It was just a matter of grinding Dan down which we did and then Tony Dunst and I played HU for 110 hands……… Prob the best I’ve ever played HU.  Been struggling lately HU, but I stayed patient vs Tony because I could see he was doing same.  

sorry KB, just getting back to seeing this.  Over the months leading up to the WSOP pre-cancel I asked them SEVERAL times and eventually they gave me the choice of two things.  Keep the seat for 2021 or get the 10k in tourney vouchers for the online series they had in July.  

I told them I wanted the WSOP 2021 seat.  Kinda wish I would have taken the money now, because I got my ass kicked during the ONLINE series.  I took beat after beat.  Normally, I would have at least ONE good result, but not this time.  To give you an idea of how bad I was running, I decided to play a smaller 30k friday event.  All the smaller things got BIG numbers and 1st place in this $50 event was 13k.  Long story short, barely made the money, but then got hot with 20 left.  CLer at 18 and the start of the FT.  BIG CL at FT and in 5, just 5 hands, I was OUT in 9th place, lol  The beats kept coming till the end of the series.   Only played 3 times since, lol  It’s been a nice break, but starting Oct 15th, another series starts and I’ll be playing.  Poker, ughhhhhhhhhh  lol 

Soooooo, with WSOP kinda saying that this year’s Main Event SERIES will be held sometime during Sept to Nov………..  Makes me happy in a way.  Gives everyone plenty of time to get shots or for the pandemic to go down in numbers.  Lets see who it is when late summer comes.  

It’s april now and a big series is starting in Hollywood Fla @Seminole.  Going to be interesting to see what #s they get.
