For those who did not read my saga with 888 poker the link is
Just finished playing the tourney 266 runners. Paid 12 seats 13th 3.5K 14th 2.1K and 15th 1.5K
When we got down to 13 a British guy didn't want the seat but wanted the 3.5K so he just dumped his chips off.
Not bad for a $27 investment. Wish me well.
Grats man! So jealous – would love to go down there for this.

Thx Benny and bl on the KK hand. Sick. Weird, I went through the player list to see if I recognised anyone but didn't see your name, obviously didn't look hard enough. I read your post in the sweat thread and then went back to the list and then saw it.
To tell you the truth I've never thought about it. And it's a little embarressing for me, I don't even know how it all that works. I've heard about it but never been involved either buying pieces or selling, so if you don't mind would love to hear how it all works.
Eg, if I sold say 20% of myself, would the buyer(s) get 20% of whatever I won? Is it that simple or is it more complicated? ie tounament buyin included or excluded etc. Sorry mate I am only a rec player so don't know much about this stuff, only what I've heard on podcasts etc

Yeah in essence, you would divide the total buyin into 1% or 5% or whatever chunks, and then if people want, they can buy that amount. and then if you cash, you give them x% or your winnings based on how much they bought.
for someone that won a satellite for not much, if you can sell off 10% say, it means you get 1k in the pocket already and it is a guaranteed win. if i won the ticket, i had planned to sell off maybe up to 40% of myself as a way to build my roll whilst still keeping a big chunk of myself for when i shippped the tourney lol
