no offense, but im actually insulted by you posting this, ive read that three times before.  Its called a rant(and its actually good for some people), and im POSITIVE that in that article, it says its ok if you got mad at a spot like this, because it is such a crucial spot in the tourney, you cant just say tough break? instead you post some link to an article like you are better than me as a person, this is the bad beats thread for a reason, but im just a low-stakes grinder, so it doesnt matter when someone comes by and insults me.

When, when does it come around… One thing though, when we do start running half way decent its not nearly as frequent or for the duration that we go thru when thiings are bad. I've gotten to the point now where I just play and hope one day my turn comes. Over the past 3 weeks I've been crushing the micro tourny's on AP but have not shipped a single one. In positions of 1-5 with under 15 remaining only making two final tables and at best a 3rd place finish. Its rough. Flopped a set of fours tonite and got a guy to put his whole stack in with top pair.  He had me slightly covered.  Turn paired the board, river gave him a bigger full house.  LMAO, what can you do man?  This is the longest downswing I've encountered, but I just keep telling myself to try to put in as much volume as possible (which really isn't all that much for me) and hope for the best.

Basically, I feel your pain.  Honestly the most frustrating thing isnt the actual beat(s), but for me it's second guessing myself as to whether or not I'm actually any good at MTTs.  When you afre running bad sometimes people want to blame luck exclusively, well, I tend to blame myself alot and that's not good for your game either.  We need to be realistic and confident at the same time and when you are running like ass its really hard to do sometimes.

Here's my busto hand, LOL.  I know that's a huge overshove, but I knew he'd call bc we had some history and I was pretty sure he was looking to snap me off.  Can't tell you how many times my traps have been successful lately, only to have some crazy unlikely outcome such as this.  I  variance.
