This is my bragcool

Got involved in co-staking 3 people online in september with a friend of mine who plays online under the nic kingpaulie..

One of the stakes is solid, and plays pretty much everything on stars except super tuesday.. we were staking him for $55 – $320 and the other 2 guys we were staking for $3 – $30..

Anyway they all go on a down swing after 3 weeks.. the lower ones around 1.2k total and our higher buy in horse goes on a 15k downswing..

At this point im stressed out with heaps of mouth ulcers wondering what the **** i've gotten myself into and how im gonna buy christmas presents this year lol

Then oh the joys of poker bring the swing the other way!

One of the smaller stakes bangs up a little over 4k in 5 cashes over 2 weeks and then decides to go it on his own after a while.. giving me a profit of just over 1k for the 2 months we staked him

Top horse has a few small 4 figure cashes then comes 3rd in the big 109 for 11k to get out of the hole.. i quickly realise how big these swings can be at these stakes and decide i want to reduce my stake to 10% with a new staker coming in and taking my other 40%..

I arrange for this around early november and take a profit of around 2k for the 2 months..

The day before i meet up with kingpaulie to reduce my stake, our horse wins a seat to ANZPT auckland in november from a $265 satty..

he then proceeds to FT the live event with the CL!!

This is a $2k event with 1st place around 100k.. Holy shit!!

b/c i have 25% of him i drive up with friends and jump on the rail with beer in hand and a loud mouth everytime he wins a hand haha

now hes a very aggressive player and obv has dynamics with most of the others..

it gets to 6 handed and he has CL with 900k at i think 7k/15k

there comes a pot where he 4bets OOP pre with Qdiamond7diamond and 3bet jams the Jdiamond3diamond8heart flop and gets called..

this is for roughly 1.6million chips, to bust the other guy who has 700k and to take an overwhelming CL 5handed with next spot being around 600k..

villain has Tdiamond9diamond

….and hits one pair on the turn

….and holds

not too long later he busts to finish 6th for 21k

Such a rollercoaster of emotions is this game!

just put that one diamond up there and we've got one hand on the bracelet and 25k in the bank!

Nonetheless, just over 5k after that win is enough to buy some decent presents for christmas but i think ill be doing a whole lot more homework and running numbers before i jump deep into staking againcool
