Fun with stats.

8/16.

Coinflips – I won 3 of 11
60/40 being ahead – I won 2 of 5
60/40 being behind – I won 0 of 4

How the f— is this even possible?

Seriously thinking of quitting the game temporarily. I log in and instantly feel defeated. That’s some s—.

I know what you mean. I lose AK vs AQ often. Also my PP never hold up against Ax. Also I feel when I get it in with say 98s and get called by A6 I will usually hit the flop but get resucked out on.  Also if they have 3 to a flush on the flop foget it they always catch…just my opinion though. Smile  Also KJs is the nuts remember that!!

Only relief I can offer you here is that your sample size is not statistically significant so it can't be used to indicate a trend…therefore this could be a temporary swing in your massive good running streak. Can't fault me for trying Wink

Thanks guys 🙂

Yeah, I know the math can and does work out over huge amounts of hands so it comes down to how well you play.

For now it's getting over the mental hurdle. If I register for a tournament and already begin thinking about the pending bad beat I'm not fit to play.

So a few days off to recharge will hopefully fix that.

Shake the bad beats off your shoulder. If you can't take the variance, get out the game. If you are not in the right zone/mood – don't play. If you are focusing on the negative/bad beats, you will only see more and more of it. Be positive and remember what went right not wrong..
