The old me would have never laid this down, now it's so obvious that I'm beat a vast majority of the time in spots like this:

Poker Stars $8.00+$0.80 No Limit Hold'em Tournament – t250/t500 Blinds + t60 – 9 players
TournamentPokerEdge.com Hand History Converter

Dr.Stuttgart (CO): BB = 1.4, t725
expertandfis (BTN): BB = 94.9, t47434
eg.Denzel (SB): BB = 14.5, t7270
6Thor6 (BB): BB = 47.6, t23814
Hero (UTG): BB = 20.7, t10364
zsakai85 (UTG+1): BB = 6.8, t3408
hulinada (UTG+2): BB = 89.6, t44786
parsifal99 (MP1): BB = 3.9, t1932
Delfine1981 (MP2): BB = 13.3, t6638

Pre Flop: (t1290) Hero is UTG with J of diamonds J of hearts
Hero raises to t1000, 2 folds, parsifal99 raises to t1872 all in, 2 folds, expertandfis calls t1872, 2 folds, Hero calls t872

Flop: (t6906) 9 of hearts 3 of diamonds 2 of clubs (3 players – 1 is all in)
Hero checks, expertandfis bets t3500, Hero folds

Turn: (t6906) 3 of clubs (3 players – 1 is all in)

River: (t6906) K of hearts (3 players – 1 is all in)

Final Pot: t6906
expertandfis shows A of spades A of clubs (two pair, Aces and Threes)
parsifal99 shows 8 of diamonds A of hearts (a pair of Threes)
expertandfis wins t6906

no offence and maybe im totally wrong but im not sure if this is a good fold in the long run, cause i think if hes not a total nit we could beat a good part of his range here, dont we? would be interesting to hear some more opinions on this?

He was a super nit. That flat set alarm bells ringing pretty loud in my head. He never did anything like that before and idk, it just screamed AA or KK to me. I think he 3bets QQ-88 and folds hands like A9, 22, 33.

@mini: against a supernit this was def a nf

@benny: i guess it depends on the range we give him preflop, without any info about the villain i may give him a wider one on the button with this stack in a tourney at that stakes.
