Ok, so most if not everyone here wouldn't even bother with this tourney, probably. But I am still very proud to have had my first ever cash in a 45-man SNG. smile

I used to bust out at 30+, then I crawled up to 20+ and today my very first final table and even a cash prize of $0.62 surprised lol. I even reached the final table as CL, but pushed a guy all-in with 88. Turned out he had 99.

Thanks TPE for the video's, podcasts and resources that made this possible.
Even though the cash itself doesn't actually mean anything in this case it is a nice indication of increasing my skill level (or variance ofcourse, but let's not go there wink)

It's one small step for change

And one giant leap for big cashes

You gotta walk before you run. Well done

Congrats mate.

Thanks guys!

And I agree it's great to have found this site now. I was unsure whether to pay for the subscription at my level, but I found it very worth my while.

I'm struggling the most with putting the things I hear and read to practice in the micro's. In the video's when one guy limps much he gets scolded. The tables I play have 7-way pots with all limpers quite often.
Hopefully that will help me beat them in the future! wink

the high stakes stuff might not be so useful at present in terms of how they play, but in terms of the thought processes required to play at that level it is most definitely worthwhile.

but check out the ttwist stuff, his micro/low stuff is awesome
