And I take the (richard) 15 minutes into the tournament!

Ridiculous.
Is there any way to get away from this? I'm 95% sure there's not, but against this particular villain it's a nasty spot.
I'd looked the guy up on OPR and he's a bonafide baller…he finished 3rd in the Million a month ago and plays nosebleed stakes…so while I knew I couldn't fold, I wasn't exactly breaking my arm off calling him.
I was praying that he'd turn over 22. Good players aren't jamming any one-pair hand there…and they're certainly not going to be on a crazy bluff in the second level of the tournament against some random micro-donk who might not be capable of laying down an overpair.
(Pretty good story for the rigtards really…a Supernova Elite doubles up early by coolering some random 4/180 grinder who has about $500 in his account…hmmm.)

There's no room for you to fold when you start the hand with 32 bb's so don't beat yourself up over it or wonder what could have been.
I'd beat you up in here if you folded 🙂
At the point where you're wondering if you can fold… you've invested 50% of your stack. There are other hands in his range – AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AcKc, AcQc … I think he'd go with at least some of them there.
