I was playing live 3/5 spread limit at Muckleshoot Casino outside of Seattle this weekend. Only had about $95 behind. It was late and I was about ready to take a flip and call it a night if I busted. I opened to $20 UTG with JTd. HJ calls, CO raises to $70. I ship. HJ folds. CO calls but doesn’t show his hand while I flip mine over. Flop is QK9 all diamonds and the table erupts. Pretty damn exciting in itself but the turn is the Ad giving me the royal! River is another ace.

For a moment the table froze as it was a possibility that CO had AA in which case we would have won the $63k bad beat jackpot! He mucked though and said later he had 99. 

I won a $500 royal bonus and a Muckleshoot Poker Room jacket. Turned a couple pretty lousy late night sessions into a poker experience I’ll never forget!
