Day 3 of the WSOP Main, Johnny Chan THE LEGEND and I get moved to table 448 in the amazon. He Busts me from the Main for LOTS when he rivs a bigger 2 pair. We were all in PRE.
*Truth is I lost MOST of my chips the hand before when I get it in PRE w/ KK vs JJ. I had him covered by 4k. Unknown player goes runner runner to riv a Str8.
After the bust out hand, a guy on the rail says, “At least you have a cool bustout story.” I say, “Fuck the story, I’d rather be unknown and have chips.” LOL
As if that wasn’t bad enough, I learn an hour later, that same table is going to be the FEATURE table on ESPN. Double fuck me, lol
Ughhhhh. I hate poker. lol
Thank goodness I’ve had a good online the last two months.

obviously i was bummed when you busted. Then i got extra bummed that you would have been on the feature table. Would have been so much fun to watch.

Yea bro, I was crushed with the bustout but when I found out an hour later that J Chan’s table was going to be the feature table on ESPN…… I was DONE for the day. That table was boring as hell on TV. I know seat 1 Jose from NY and we would have had FUN………….. But, not meant to be

Bad luck P-aire…but by the sounds of things…you’re moving in the top leagues now!
I’ll be lucky if I ever even see Chan from across the room as I play slots, let alone play cards with him. Unless of course he plays in charity poker games for all the low stakes losers in London, as a kindness.

Thanks for saying that. I’m still a WAYS away from the top, but the WSOP Main allows me the format to play with the superstars of the game. It’s the biggest tournament I play in all year. I’ve been lucky to have some nice scores in LIVE events before the WSOP plus 1 year I sattied into the main. Still ZERO cashes 0-5 4 late day 2 busts and this year we made day 3, to get sucked up on when I’m way ahead. But I wouldn’t chance a damn thing about it. I’ll be back to spend 10k again next year. Nothing like it in the world. But, hoping to BINK a live score and BIG online score again.

It’s so funny you say that. That’s my normal statement to the pro’s or studs who talk about winning tourneys. I joke, but would normally say I’ll be happy with my standard 11th-27th place.
I complained about my horrible Vegas results and other LIVE results and everyone brings up my 2 big MAY results online that gave me 70k in scores. So, I try my best not to complain, but when you see others run like god for weeks or months……. well, lol
The big score will come my friend. You just have to keep grinding. I realize I’m playing much much less then others.
