I keep track of how many bad beats I receive and how many I give out so I dont feel like I am always getting them and there is no balance to it. Since doing this I have decided to keep a record of flips lost:flips won and I have lost an astonishing 17 flips in a row from pre flop situations

first thing you have to realise is that you are not special. it happens to everyone. sorry if that sounds harsh, but the sooner you realise this the sooner you will overcome it.
you will have worse days than you have had today. you will alwo have much better days.
if people didn't make bad plays, then you wouldn't make money from poker.
maybe you should post this in the mental game forum, jamie might be able to help.

Agree with Benny, once you accept that beats are a part of poker then you can finally move on. I still suffer from it as well from time to time. My best advice review those hands you lost on a flip with Pokerstove or similiar program make sure you were making the right play. This really helped me work out some leaks in my game. Sometimes I thought I was ahead but after working out the numbers, I was actually slighlty behind. In the end you may be a 60/40 fasvorite, which still means you have to lose 40% of the time, sometimes that 40% is all at once, just the nature of the beast.
"Your either in Sheen's Korner or your with the trolls."
Ive been through really bad days but yesterday was just a cut above the rest. If I make bad plays and get it in behind Im annoyed but still ok because I know I can play better but when Im in front every time it makes it that much harder to take.
After posting this, I had one game left open and it was a 745 field rebuy and we were down to 15 and I had just below 25BBs after 5.5hours of play and they one guy I had been hoping to get a hand against for the past hour finally shoved 76s from the HJ and I had AQs from the SB and obviously shipped it in. He turned a boat. I even had his suits. Now I dont fault his play but a top 3 spot in that would have covered the days losses and that happens.
I know the mental game this and the mental game that but I had been all-in once after the rebuy in the MTT before the above hand. JUst that coupled with the day and a few days before that aswsel just made me start thinking if I had done something terrible back in my life and karma was levelling it out. All sorts of crazy shit goes through your head when you are in a hole.
Thanks for the support though guys

forgot to mention that i STILL made $250 (my ABI is $10)
so keep your chip up, you will get there.
maybe drop down a stake that you know you can crush and just grind a week out there to make yourself feel better

my standard night goes from about 730 to 130, about 14 tourneys
everything on 888 from the $3r up to the $22 games – around 10 games, give or take (they usually get between 70 and 200 runners, so they are great for lowering variance. and the fields are soft as butter)
most of those games have a guarantee of between 700 and 1200
$26 10.5k gtd on tilt (maybe 1 or 2 others thrown in)
$11 10k gtd on stars (maybe 1 or 2 others thrown in)
$5r 2k gtd on cake
$22 2k gtd on UB
at any one time i have about a maximum of 10 tables going but its usually about 8. i think my ABI is about $10 but i am gradually dropping some of the $5 games and adding in some $20s
(bear in mind this is australian night times, so there are obv a lot bigger tourneys out there at other times)
