Bovada 30k gtd. 10/5/14 60 players left I have 14Ok, Villain 120k blinds 1k/2k
I know I played it right and I have to chalk it up to an extreme cooler. But, I was so curious to know the math behind the hand and just how unlucky I got. Hero: 99; Villain 22; flop 9 Q 2 ; turn 2; river x.
What are the chances on an 8 handed table that two people flop a set? then the person that is ahead loses to quads?

as far as I remember the first one is around 300 to 1. Pretty unlikely. Quad situation is way more unlikely. HAve only seen a couple of this scenario in my life. Sorry for the bad beat.
