I need help chipping up in the middles stages...I can get a stack early but keeping it healthy it my problem

Guys,

I can get chips…and I can steal pots…but playing after the pot and avoiding bad beats kills my stack and my shots to bink one….What should I be doing differently?

I am just using this as an ex of what happens. I can get the donks to put their chips in, but I cant seem to hold…and then when I dont hold I can’t get back up to the stack I had…and I flake out with a min cash.

Another reason I am so disappointed about this is, one guy that is teaching me how to play was like damn man why do you always have 25BBs or less?

Just so ugh….just want to bink a win so bad

I don’t think you are doing anything wrong. As TOUGH as it is to hear this, you made him make a huge mistake and he got SUPER LUCKY to beat you. What are the odds of hitting runner runner flush? something like 50-1? I don’t know but you got your chips in GOOD and he had to suck out to beat you so OVER TIME (poker is a long term game remember) you will way more then you will lose in that spot.

I say keep up the good work and EVENTUALLY, you will run a little better and the wins will come.

BBird…we share the same problem but eventually you will have your way..

i tend to take more risks later on and be a bit more aggressive with not -s o premium hands and luck out from time to time but thats poker..

change gears and be more aggro during these stages…be the one that gets the chips in rather than being the one that calls all of your chips.
