Man, what a rollercoster of a month. Was on fire at the begining, took a massive (and I mean massive) downswing for most of the middle, had a couple of blip ups towards then end. Then yesterday and today hit one of the biggest runs of bad beats, flip loses and ultra coolers i can ever remember. As a result I seem to have lost my mojo, and along with it the ability to get max value from my hands (when they hold). So, until my mojo is returned I think I will take a small break from playing and just work on the game a bit.

I thought I had come through it when I made a deep run in the $4.40 Big on stars and was sitting 4th in chips with the guy in 5th on my left. Long story short we got into a BvB battle on the flop where I have top top and back door nut flush draw and he has 2 overs, somehow he decides to get it all in and manages to hit runner runner for a str8!

Then in the nightly $55 on stars I had managed to chip up to 12k chips in the first hour and only played 3 hands, all premiums. During the same period the guy 2 to my left had spewed his stack down to 8 bbs chasing garbage. He then decides that jamming KJo over my UTG open, which happened to be AKo was a great idea. Naturaly he hits his J on the flop but I have the nut str8 draw and nut flush draw and my A and miss the lot. Then he decides to try a mini raise steal from UTG and gets jammed on by SB who has TT, he tanks then calls with A2s and naturally spikes his A. Then he doubles again with legitametely the best hand, and proceeds to start spewing again. Some converstaion had been going on in the chat about his ridiculous play and suck outs (there hand been a few more). To which someone defended him by saying his cashing stats were better than mine and therefore must be a better player. Almost the following hand, which is now about 20 places from cashing,  I had A9dd on BTN and opened on siad villains BB, who by the way hand spewed back down to 9.5bbs, I was more than prepared to call a jam. No, he decides to flat and defend? Flop comes 8d6s2d, happy days i think, and blessed he donks for 1/3 pot (also 1/3 of his stack). Does he really think there are 2 cards in my hand that I am not putting him all in with right now? least of all the 2 I'm holding. I Hollywood for a second or 2, then put him in. He tanks for about 1.5s and calls(breifly I thought he must have JJ+), he has 57o, obviously the rvr is a 9 and he sucks out again. How the hell does this guy have better results than me? Because he is the luckiest retard donkey on the planet thats how.

So…..has anyone seen my mojo?

I am pretty sure it is down at the bar drinking with mine.

I have faith that they will return to us eventually.
