Hey Guys,

Had a great night last night, had 6 cashed with 4 FT's!! Accomplished this by applying what I have learned from the videos and playing with some great aggression. Oh…and also winning so great flips!

Here are the stats from the FT's:

Felts Stars (icalldud):

$2k Guaranteed – $3 rebuy – 1st for $567

$1k Guaranteed – $3 deepstack freezeout – 7th for $39

Lock (icalldude):

$4k Guaranteed – $5 rebuy – 6th for $221

$2k Guaranteed – $3 rebuy – 4th for $175

Also cashed and $11 dollar tourney and $30 freezeout on lock.

Thanks to TPE, gonna keep putting in the work and grinding!!

Good luck all!!

I wonder if we were in the same tourney on Lock. I finished 2nd out of 222 in a $10 guarantee. I think it was a 2K. But I get what you mean about using some great aggression. I open raised way more than normal but only a min raise and got a lot of uncontested pots. It also built me a reputation as someone that buys pots which sometimes I was but it had the villains guessing.

Yeah, I was exploiting the bubbles great, and also built an agro image so I was getting full value for my top hands. I was only min raising when I opened last night (took it out of the DannyN13 video) and it worked great!

That's exactly what I was doing. I was amazed at the number of folds I got from min raises and continuation bets. I tried not being afraid of an Ace on the flop and it worked a bunch.

But the best was a hand that kept calling me with pocket 10s and there was a J on the board which hit my hand beautifully. I took a huge pot off him because he thought I was betting a draw or trying to buy the pot. He told me that we'd played a lot of hands together and thought sure I was trying to buy it. He was right-we did have a lot of hands together but I never once tried to buy a pot after continuation betting. If the hand made it to showdown I at least had a piece of it but he saw me as loose aggressive. What a trip finding out how someone sees you.

If it wasn't 1 am when I cashed I'd have played another tournament.
