well i came home a few days ago after spending 1 month in vegas.  I decided to cut down to playing 6 tables and I pretty much stopped using my hud and started paying attention to stack sizes, betting patterns and other dynamics of the game.  I take a little more time to think things over now and it is making a difference, before I had too many tables up so I was playing like a stupid robot.   Well I played yesterday and cashed in a few tournies, but the thing I noticed is when I got sucked out on, happened 2-3 times yesterday, I didn’t feel that hate and anger I did before.  I did realize I got unlucky, but I told myself oh well that happens.  Today I played about 6 tournies and maybe 5 mtt sit and go’s and I bubbled the 3 dollar rebuy and cashed a few of the sit and go’s.  I also final tabled the 4 dollar 8max and got 4th for 300 cheeseburgers.  I have decided to play maybe 3-4 days a week so I can work out and keep some kind of balance in my life.  I was miserable trying to grind 6 days a week, stressing out and neglecting everything.  I will dedicate more time to studying the game, watching training videos ( love the live sweat vids on this site ) and just overall anything to better my game.

I just wanted to share my new outlook on playing online.  gl to tpe members

Interesting stuff u saying! I made some changes in my poker life also. I made my day schedule, started go to gym and pool, to make me feel much better! I do play 6 tables, used to play 8-9, just picking my time to think more on every action. I absolutely agree with about taking day offs from poker, to take stress away and relax, that helps so much! And studying is really useful thing -))

 gl sir!

Sounds like you both are on the right track. I also started running again and eating better and I think feeling better leads to playing better. I still use a HUD to get some idea about the player but I also consider stack sizes and the blinds and not just saying this guy is a 40/12  so he must be wide for all his chips.

yah it’s important to keep the body and mind in shape.  As for my hud I only have vpip-pfr-afq and I only look at it after I consider all other factors-stacks-betting-dynamics.
