I’m at my wits end with players turning over 88 – TT – KK in the same hand. This is happening far too often and its making me sick. before Black Friday the poker stars program ran decently with some strange action but not like it is now. I play part-time and its really turning me off as I have deposited well over $300 this month with nothing to show for it. I had another account on stars before black Friday and was winning, even made several withdrawals. I changed my account because I didn’t like the name anymore and I was moving so I changed to a new account, I don’t use the other one at all. I have had this account for 2 years and haven’t even come close to consider a withdrawal, not even once. My play is better than before by far but my results are way worse and not looking like its going to get better. I watch a group of players and they don’t have problems like I do, Their stats are fairly normal compared to their previous years stats.
I just can’t believe that I can’t build a roll, its bullshit really.

All I can say is that we are always learning in poker, and the game evolves so quickly that what worked well only months ago might not work well now. If you are always working to improve your game the results will eventually return again.
You have to try not to allow the bad beats and coolers to affect you, as they will always be a part of the game.

the only thing i can say with strong conviction is that if your playing the same way as you did pre black friday then that is your problem…the game has changed drastically in 2.5 years and what was working then is not now. the game is no longer position and premiums and has moved into a any 2 from any position kind of game so assigning a hand range can be very difficult and tbh i find online poker is as difficult as its ever been there is next to no soft spots at the tables anymore and the smaller the stakes you play just brings so much more spewy play that its next to imposssible to navigate through the mine field to where its truly just a waste of time, if you expect to turn profits i find myself dropping the amount of tables i try to play to play higher buyin tourneys in hopes of finding people who have some sort of clue where there fold button is if im going to roll 50$ on 8 tourneys i may just play 3-4 15$ in hopes to find more thinkingb type players rather than button clickers…
