This is my second month of serious poker playing.

I've had quite a few deep runs over the last few weeks. But I just seem to be unable to get to the top places or even the FT.

The highlights:

In the Big $33 I was 7th with 9 left at the FT, got it in pre with AK, called by AQ, he binks his Q -> out 9th for some change compared to the first four places where I could have easily landed if i won this.

Next day in a $10+R with about $6k for 1st I was 7th with 11 left and was dealt KK. I raise, get called by the button. flop is superdry with T as highest card. I cbet he raises, I get it in. He shows AT and binks his second T on the turn. Out for 11th.

In a $2.20+R with a field of about 3000 we were about 20 left. I was 6th when a superdonk is moved to our table. I saw him shipping it pre with JT (having over 60 BB!), KJ and other broadway. The superdonk is UTG and raises allin. I am in MP, get dealt KK, call his shove. He shows A6suited, and binks his A on river. Ugh.

Just now in a 1800 field $2.20 6-max I am 10th with 25 left. I hold 67 in BB. The super-aggro-loose-SB-fish calls. I check, flop is 976 rainbow. He instashoves (he had me slightly covered with over 50 BB). I call. He showes AA. Turn is 9 for a counterfeit. …

Ok, sorry , I know this isn't even sick varience, it just hurts to loose so close to the (for me) big money. *sigh* Getting it in good and loosing anyways happens all day, but in these spots it is quite tough to handle sometimes.

I will have to reduce my ABI again, since I am down about 1k over the last week or so. So sad.
