Whatsup TPE?

After a several months long break from poker, I deposited $200 on Bovada mid February and started grinding MTTs again.  I have started a challenge thread and have been playing well with good results.

Today I worked 14 hours and came home feeling pretty exhausted and unsure if I would play a session.  I decided to stick it out and put in some games, and I shipped the 7k GTD $12 + 1 on Bovada for $1872!!  There were 800 entries which is a fairly “big” field for Bovada standards.  I have final tabled and shipped some of the bigger buy-in small field events on Bovada but have never shipped an MTT in a field of > ~400 or so players.  It is a nice feeling and gives me some confidence in my game.  Still in the 10k GTD 10k chips 10 min levels, 17/54.  Back to the grind!

Thx Guys!  It's kind of strange- but I almost always seem to feel more motivated to play after a long, hard day at work.  Sometimes I work at home and when I do that I tend to sleep in later and tbh often have very unproductive days.  On those days I don't feel as motivated to play and probably don't play at the peak of my game.

Nice work.

Have noticed the same myself that after hard day at work I can concentrate better because I like to block all the distractions out and just focus on the game. This is not usually possible because of family life but when possible it is nice.

Thx Flicka.  Interesting that you have noticed the same tendencies.  I feel like my gameplay may not be hugely more +ev after a long hard day, but my mindset is like night and day compared to grinding after sitting home all day and getting nothing accomplished.  I never get bothered by bad beats or coolers after a day like that.  Making stupid mistakes always pains me a little but I think the feelings are less intense after a long day/week of good work.
