After 3 short weeks from getting the W in the NJ Party/Borgata 50k Sunday in a 4-way chop for $7.7k, outlasting 229 runners on the holiday, I outright shipped it 2 days ago for $10.5k. I feel this time around I took complete control of Final Table and never really doubted my ability to get 3 handed/heads up after entering FT 4/9. Although our tournaments are alot smaller on these NJ sites, I feel pretty awesome about it! Good Vibes before I leave for Vegas today. See you guys out there!!

So I went to Vegas, and bricked a couple of Bracelet events and Dailys before going out 3rd in a Rio $185 daily. First Hendom Mob score so that's good considering I haven't played much live and need to start building that live resume. After returning from Vegas I binked our PartyPokerNJ (borgata skin tho) Nightly 10k, and turned around 2 days later and shipped WSOP Online Championship Event 6 for 1.9k. While they aren't exceptionally big wins or anything like that, the victories do feel pretty good, especially WSOPOC #6, as irrelevant as NJ is to things, it's nice to win something thats officially an “Online Championship” of sorts.
Now for the Bad Beat part.. returned from Vegas to get Sinus and Ear infections… sitting this sunday out for the most part, gunna play our party 50k, and ultimate 20k (sunday majors lol) and thats it.

You've been playing just about as well as anyone in NJ, and that's saying a lot!

I honestly am curious what you, P aire and JamieK think of level of play on NJ sites.. any other TPE members from the NJ sites? If I remember correctly you guys were around here at TPE preBF?

Hey Johnny,
Congrats on all your recent success. Mike & Jamie can speak more then me prob, but I'll saw I'm happy to be playing again online. Now with Amaya buying PStars, I think PS & FTP will be back in NJ and the US in the not too distant future.
I felt the games were soft in the begging and very beatable and still do. Players have gotten better (Some) and better players will show up the more and better it gets. My volume had been reduced the last month and a half, but I still think you can win good money on the sites and I'm only playing on WSOP & Borg/Party. Spoke to a GOOD winning player and he told me 888 & Ult poker are good money makers as well.
I think if you take some notes, know who the GOOD players are, you can take adventage of everyone else because they do some wacky stuff and spew esp in the rebuys. I am not perfect and def not a great player. but if you stay on your game and keep learning you'll do well.
