Was brutally sucked out on for a pot for over half the chips in play in the ACR/Winning 12.5K feature Friday night (utg shoves off, I overshove K-K, guy behind me thinks his jacks are a monster, river Jack) at the final table to eventually finish 4th for a high three-figure cash, but made up for it by shipping the 10K $109 Saturday feature this evening (10/27. TPE'rs shipping many of the ACR/Black Chip/True featured tourneys at this point!
Was funny, one of the guys in the FT of the 12.5 K I spotted donking off his chips early on in Mr. Moon's newly posted vid of the Winning 100K (so happy to see a vid series on this, excellent for US players like me). Have not shipped their Sunday major yet, but on a heater so perhaps tomorrow!

Thanks. Glad to see you playing on Winning again (except when you're at my table!); much smaller fields sizes than Merge, which helps your variance, and still the potential for signifcant $ as evidence by the latest Chris Moon series.
Is you sn still loxxii on there like it was before, or did you have to obtain a new name? I assume a new name since I didn't recall you gifting me chips! At any rate, that was probably the 12.5K I mentioned above, where I should have won but finished 4th for still a decent score.
On quite a heater lately. Even had two different people rail me in these two tourneys, which has never happened to me before! Makes up for the nearly two months of negative variance before that…
Yeah I think you were 1st in that tourney for a while. It's oddsgod on there which is also my skype name (send me a request). On the bubble, I reshipped 25bb directly into your wallet with A5o from the SB vs your BTN open when you were a big stack. Of course you have AA there. Still not sure about my play. I was really hoping you would win it. I've actually never played on WPN before. I'm enjoying it so far except I cant Scope or OPR anyone so I dont know all the regs.

I actually remember the hand now, and I made a note (not knowing who you were) that that was a play much better than the ones I typically see on Winning, even with the regs. I was in boss mode , encoutering litttle resistance, so was pretty much opening napkins at that point. Thus, absolutely A-5 was a shove spot that would have worked in that dynamic, just ul that I actually had a hand there. I spent most of the last few hours of that tourney with virtually no one playing back at me, so it was tons of fun for me until the aforentioned K-K<J-J debacle 5 handed for 60% of the chips in play.
Wouldn't worry about Scoping/OPR, though you will be able to find many of the regs on OPR since they use the same screen names on merge as Winning. When you do this, you'll find that, amazingly, many of the regs have awful stats as well. Some of the nut worst players on the site are regs.
There are a select few good players, but most of those are TPE members (Lambert, Moon, KB, RFB, etc. and are thus easily identifiable). There are actually VERY FEW good non-TPE regs (the #9-ranked US player on PFives is one of them, but most of the others play Merge/Bovada exclusively).
There are some adjustments that are required, which Chris Moon indicates in his latest video series, just because the players are SO spewy. Think people whose poker expereince primarly consists of watching televised final tables, or others who have never heard of fold equity, have zero idea as ot proper bet sizing, zero idea of proper short stack plan, and limp flat, limp flat, and limp flat again, etc. That vid series, even though I have only seen the first installment posted, will most certainly be a must-view for anyone playing on the site. Plays that have to be seen to be believed!
And this is even in the $109+ buy ins; in the one I shipped last night there was a grand total of THREE people I encountered who seemed to have any idea what they were doing. The FT was so bad that I was superdonked down to 5 bbs in a A-K<10-9 off hand 9 handed, had a 5-1 chip deficit heads up at one point and STILL shipped the thing.
There are some bad aspects to the site; you can't pull up the toruney lobby from the table, and the site has an awful knack of freezing up during peak traffic periods, resulting in cancellations, but otherwise with the decent guarantees and small fields, you can make some good coin here if you are halfway decent. They recently hired a new TD who seems to be doing all the right things, increasing guarantees and adding on-demand toruneys, including freerolls.
I am convinced you will absoluely clean up here, just like the other members of the TPE nation have done. I would say good luck, but I suspect you will not need it!
