So im currently on quite a big downswing and it never helps when your 10's get crushed by Q6 off and he laughs. Im using all my lucky charms to help me turn this around but they arent working for me.
What are some small things i should be doing to help me in a situation like this:
Play lower buy ins?
Play less tables?
Play more ABC poker?
Or does it not really matter and just realise that im on the wrong side of varience atm.
Thoughts?

“more ABC” is the one thing you shouldnt do. you have to play your natural game. review some spots to make sure you aren't spewing but if you dont think you are, then definitely dont tighten up.
What i tend to do in a downswing is swap out the highest buyin and highest variance tourneys.
for instance i play anything from $11fo and 3r/5r up to $55. If i am on a downswing, i drop out the $55 games, and the bigger $33 games, and replace them with smaller games, maybe some $8 180 mans or a smaller tourney on 888.
by doing this you lower your ABI and also lower the field size. It is then pretty easy to add in the bigger stuff that you play once you feel good about your game again
It might be useful to read RFB's bankroll selection guidelines article, its awesome
