Hello all,

Just for fun, this website makes me happy. As you may read in the Introduce Yourself forum I am only playing poker seriously for a short period. I started TPE University last week. Yesterday I played my first live MTT, we had a qualifier for the Dutch Amateur Championship in town. Out of 52 players I made it to the FT and finished 6th. 

I am very happy with the result, altough only the 1st and 2nd place won a ticket to the Main Event. I was quite impressed that several “more pro” players got busted before me. I was watching and observing their play/range during the whole tournament and it seem to work out. I was trying to keep my range a bit tighter than they did. I'm pretty sure I've learned a lot this evening.

It's a shame that live poker for money only is allowed in one particular casino company that is owned by the government in The Netherlands. But changes are coming and the rules are about to be changed by the end of 2015.

I think (and am quite sure) that TPE has helped me with my preparations during the last week, so we keep on studying and trying to get a little bit better everyday. 🙂
