open the straddle late position to 40$ with QQ. the button calls  and so does 2 limpers and BB. Flop is 2heart 5heartJdiamond.  Checks to me and i cbet to 115. button makes it 325 and bb shoves his short stack in, aprox 200. (put him on a draw right away, he was a maniac fish who we were all issolating all night. he didnt show hand at the end, assuming flush draw.) do you shove in you last 300 in this spot. i guess cause i really wasnt that deep and kepth telling myself he could have AJ or hearts. u find a fold, he flopped a set of JJ's. is this a cooler, sucks when you have to slow play a board like this and imagine everyone is flopping the nuts every hand.

thanks everyone

any advice would be greatly apreciated. do you play differnt??

thanks for the help

So it was the big blind (the maniac fish lol) that flopped the set of jacks or the guy in the button ? I’m assuming that you are definitely more worried about the button’s post flop raise, rather than the maniac fish who range is pretty much any two cards. Being in your shoes that’s probably be my first thought, am I ahead of the button ? That being said, going to a 5-way flop, I don’t think he makes that big of a raise on the flop without a premium IMO. Whether he is the guy with trips or not. He’s probably assuming that at least one person caught a draw on that flop, hearts or straight draw. Being a cash game too I don’t think he would try a bet like that post flop with air.

Sitting in your shoes, when the post flop comes back around to you, I’m puking in my seat. It’s so sick to have to fold an overpair on the flop, but glad you were able to find the fold. I mean you have to assume that one of those two hit a set and at the minimum two pair. Especially after you c-bet half pot on the flop. It’s no doubt a cooler. Like I said I am puking after the post flop action.

Maybe good you were playing live cash, because if it was me and it was in an MTT, I don’t think id be able to find that fold. Lol.
