Found this while browsing Reddit and it seems interesting: …..dds/#2D+2H
Not sure how helpful it is that the only percentage given is the result of win% minus lose% calculation without providing the actual win%, lose%, or tie%. Would this essentially be a “Net” equity calculation since the win% is your equity and lose% is villains equity?
I did find it interesting that AcKc is 0.2% favorite over 2h2d while JcTc is an 8.0% favorite over the same 2h2d. I didn’t realize having the additional straight draws on the other side of your whole cards would make that big of a difference. Of course it is a little misleading to look at it as 8% difference since you are really only gaining 4% equity (54% w/ JcTc vs 50% w/ AcKc), but villain is losing 4% equity which results in an 8% swing in “net” equity.
Also, if you look at the final graph on the page it seems to disprove the theory that 27o is the worst hand in poker. Based on weighted win% against the hands players are likely to play the 23o seems to be the worst hand at -38% vs -36.8% for 27o.
Let me know if you find anything interesting.
