So I want to make the switch from HM2 to PT4. There are a few options when purchasing PT4. The Hold em small stakes is cheaper than the full version. I’m wondering if this applies to tournaments, or is it only a cash game thing? What version did you guys get and are you happy with it? Also would like to hear opinions from people who have used both and which one they like most. Thanks!!

Hey Kingsfull,
not sure where you are based as there’s no info in your profile, but if you are playing on Stars or Full Tilt there is a probability (though not certainty) that HUDs will be banned in 2016. There is also uncertainty around whether HH’s will be as accessible as they are currently.
Not too sure why you want to switch. I never ran PT but from what I hear performance issues are similar on older non SSD machines. In any case they are one and the same company now. I have struggled with performance anxiety – (whoops…sorry – wrong forum) – I meant issues with HM for years. I have some basic fixes if that is your issue.
Maybe there are other reasons you want to switch. Laters.

Thanks for the reply. I want to switch, or would like to switch for the following reasons:
1. HM2 as far as I’ve been able to find cannot be used on Bovada
2. Any type of special tournament on ACR the hud never works right.
3. Start up errors, (cant find licensing, crashing upon start)
4. IT’S SLOW. I have a good computer. I run programs that are FAR more demanding and HM2 runs like crap.
5. Always have troubles with playing 6, 8, and 9 max tournaments at the same time. And yes I’ve been over everything trying to fix this.
6. Hud wont update in game so I have to restart it. And then obviously I need to know someones 3 bet stat.
And more. I’m not trying to bash HM2. I just feel let down a little. There are a lot of things it does right. I’m just curious if PT4 does more right. I’ve heard that it does but I would like a few more opinion before I buy it. Also I’m in the USA so Pokerstars and Fulltilt doesn’t apply to me. THANKS!
