A must read: Nassim Nicholas Taleb  Fooled by “randomness & Black Swan” after that you will see finance and poker with differend eyes.

For MTT players  a save buy.

A classic read: Dostowjewski ” Der Spieler”  the gambler.  really shows up the dynamics of gambling without responsibility. Even when it is

a few hundred years old.

These stories are always actual.

There is a book entitled, “Black Science the Secret of Ninja Mind Manipulation.” Sadly, the title makes it sound like it is for a ten year old boy but the concepts of it are actual proven techniques used in areas of sociology. A lot of the techniques can be applied in live games but if you are a chatter online you can also use it.  Is there specific genre of book you are looking for? I know a lot of books along the lines of stratgey, warfare and manipulation that I could recommend.

I read this book years ago, and it was a great way to change the way I was thinking. Most of the books by Malcolm Gladwell are good for changing you think about your surroundings. His newest one, “David and Goliath” is probably the best of the bunch for how you look at situations, and how you approach exploiting what some people would consider someone's “strength”.
