Kill Everyone - Push Charts Question

Has anyone read the Kill Everyone book?  If so, what do you think of the push charts that are presented when being far from the money?  I know they say to back off slightly for online tournaments, but do you think they are in the ball park for low level tournys (< $10)?

They use M instead of BB, but on the button with an M of 6 and antes they give:

22+, A2+, K9o+, K4s+, QTo+, Q7s+, JTo+, J7s+, T9o+, T7s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s+, 65s

I'm a pretty big fan of that, I'm shoving K8o+, Q8o+,  Q6s+, J6s+,  and 85s+ as well. I shove this range, maybe a little tighter against regs that i know call correctly and shove looser than this range when against people who call too tight.  I shove a little light, so I think you can be profitable using that range.  If you do though, include Q9o.  I don't know any regs who don't shove that in this spot.

From what I have seen their ranges are slightly tighter than optimal in all spots.

How did you go about constructing your own calling ranges?

i played a bunch of turbo 6max SNGs before i started playing more MTTs, and i have to say it is awesome for getting the push/fold fundamentals into your brain.

i also found it helped me close out tourneys a lot because i think have more short handed experience than most when i get to the final table (obviously i am talking micro/low stakes here)
