hi,
im looking for a coach who will take my tournament game to the next level.
the question is if i rather should take a coach for a big hourly rate or one with a small one.
im playing micro stakes and im not sure if its worth to pay so much for a coaching then.
maybe someone knows some good coaches who are not too expensive?
thx
Probably shouldn't go spending $400/hr on a coach if you are playing micros…
You can find some for 50-75 per hour.
The key is to find someone who has had recent (and long term) success in the games you want to play.
I do know of some specific sites to find good coaches but I don't want to spam here so PM me if you want some specific suggestions.
You are more then likely going to want a coach who has played the stakes you are playing and moderately higher as you will want someone who has played the stakes you have played at and beaten them. Poker is poker but there is quite a bit of difference in the biggest buy-in MTT's and $1 rebuys. Find someone who you feel comfortable with and you will have a great student/coach relationship.
