Everything was fine before I added a couple of stats to my player preferences. Now the hud comes up with the players names and added new stats, but it doesn't read any hands. The hand count just stays at zero. And Table Manager lists the tables I'm playing.
If I played with a player before, it shows the number of hands and all the stats of prior play, but no present hands are being read.
It's the same situation for Poker Stars and UB games, so its not a problem with the sites individual hh's not being read or something like that.
I would really appreciate any help with this – I need it back!

I would try a complete shutdown and restart first of your computer. If that does not solve the problem I would post in the HM forum as mentioned before. I have not encountered this debacle before and my help is limited.

It ended up being a corrupt data base. There is a list of about 8 or 10 things in a thread/article that can be found thru HEM's forums and support called “hud is not working”.
I emailed support and they responded by telling me to answer the questions in that link. So I troubleshooted one thing at a time on that list and finally there was a thing about testing then replacing an existing database. Doing it was pretty easy, but getting to the root of the problem was a pain in the ass. It sure felt weird playing without a hud for two days.
