Anyone know of a quick way to convert the vids to my phone that would be quick?
I have a Sony X-10 (android) and it currently takes 30-45 mins to transfer a vid from my hard drive to the phone. It converts them to MPG4 Quicktime format.

The iPhone version of the videos is actually MPEG-4 file that runs in quicktime on the iPhone and iPod touch; try downloading that and see if it will work for you. If not, you can find software online that converts to the format you need but in bulk. So you can convert a bunch of videos at one time before transferring to your phone. Let me know if this helps if not I can research some options for you.

i found that i get slightly better quality by converting them myself from the wmv file rather than downloading the iphone version.
i use a program called handbrake, which converts just about anything into mp4 format. there are presets that you can click, as well as making a big queue of vids to convert.
its free as well …..nloads.php
